Reviews/Testimonials
There are periods of time in our lives that shape us forever. I will always cherish the time I spent in Arizona, and I will never forget the friends and the memories I made. This has been the highlight of my life so far… Thanks to Roberto-Venn, the staff, and the class of Fall 2018, I am a better and more determined version of myself.
I’ve been coming to Roberto-Venn for years, and at first I wanted the best in the class, but now I want someone trainable, someone that’s a team player. Roberto-Venn School of Luthiery is great for that. The students leave the school with the fundamentals in-tact having learned to build a guitar from the centerline out.
Most of my employees come from Roberto-Venn.
My son attends this school. When we talk on the phone I feel the joy coming through the wires. I’m so thankful for R-V and can hardly wait to see and play the instruments that he is making.
Great training, great staff! They instilled a passion in me that I didn’t even know I had. It’s definitely the best school out there and definitely gave me the opportunity to have the job I have now. I currently work at Gibson guitars USA as a finishing repair tech and if I hadn’t gone to this school I would not be in the position I am in now. Thanks for the memories I will never forget!
The best decision I’ve ever made in my entire life. Roberto-Venn is by far more than just a trade school. Extremely knowledgeable instructors, full creative freedom and the pride that comes with seeing your finished product makes me proud to say I’m a Roberto-Venn graduate. 10/10 would do again.
The course is not only designed to build and repair guitars, it makes you think, analyze and use different techniques when it comes to the profession of Luthiery. I highly recommend taking this course.
I attended the Spring 2006 semester at Roberto Venn and it was a phenomenal experience. I built a fantastic foundation of knowledge, gained some humility, met some incredible people, and started a career path that, to this day, is also a lifelong passion. I don’t know if they still do it (I hope they do) but the quick crash-course in Entrepreneurial Business at the end of the semester was incredibly valuable, to an extent I didn’t fully appreciate until years later, and something that similar schools oftentimes fail to include in their itinerary. I’d do it all again if I had to.
